Product Marketing Manager

We currently seeking to hire a Product Marketing Manager.

This position supports the enterprise and the Marketing department as a Product Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the external / market facing marketing activities of IMG’s products. This includes creating and/or updating brochures, forms, proposals, flyers, and website content associated with IMG’s products. You will also work with the Communications Manager to make sure product launches and updates are communicated effectively to our constituents and with the e-Commerce team to ensure that web content effectively represents the new or updated product offerings.  The Product Manager will work on a regular basis with IMG’s Product Compliance, Operations, Underwriting, Claims, Sales and Legal teams.

Scope and Responsibilities

  • The Product Manager’s primary tasks will be to create and update marketing collateral for new and existing products, communicating with all team members involved throughout the process
  • Understand IMG’s products, and be able to effectively convey the advantages of our products to clients in our marketing materials
  • Plan the launch of new products and updates, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
  • Ensure smooth product launches and updates by attending regular meetings, tracking the product’s progress and assisting as necessary to keep the product collateral changes/creation on target for specified launch dates 
  • Maintain historical tracking of changes made to the various marketing materials
  • Work with the Communications Manager and Graphic Designer to develop content and design for product collateral that meets the company’s brand standards
  • Work with the Communications Manager to develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates IMG products in the market
  • Liaise with the Sales team to determine distribution and translation needs for product collateral
  • Facilitate collateral review and approval by serving as the Marketing department’s primary contact in IMG’s internal material approval process

Other responsibilities include managing the Marketing department's project intake and delivery management process

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing preferred, but not required
  • 5+ years of experience in medical insurance and/or marketing
  • Existing knowledge of IMG products
  • Attention to detail is key along with the proven ability to organize and manage multi- functional projects in order to deliver results on agreed time frames
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, and Adobe software is preferred
  • Must be a team player, organized, problem-solver, motivated and have strong written communication skills
  • Strong people skills for interaction with management and colleagues
