SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Manager to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our global social media strategy to drive business growth, enter new channels, and enhance our brand's online presence and engagement. This role requires a creative thinker with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of social media trends and best practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (Communication, Creative, & more) to create compelling content, monitor performance metrics, and optimize campaigns across various platforms.
 

JOB DETAILS 

  • Corporate office is in Indianapolis, IN.
  • Location:  Indianapolis - hybrid and in-office available 
  • Schedule: Day shift position from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's overall marketing goals and objectives.
  • Identify target audiences and create tailored content strategies to reach and engage them effectively.
  • Achieve social media goals and KPIs, and continuously track performance to ensure objectives are met.
  • Create compelling, high-quality content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others.
  • Design and produce visual content such as graphics, infographics, and videos, working with designers and video editors as needed.
  • Ensure content is consistent with brand voice, style, and messaging.
  • Plan, execute, and manage social media campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions including management of content calendars to ensure timely and relevant posting.
  • Monitor and optimize campaign performance, adjusting strategies based on analytics and feedback.
  • Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Foster and grow online communities by actively participating in conversations and encouraging user-generated content.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Assist with other Communication team or Marketing Departments projects or tasks as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or related field
  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful social media campaigns
  • Deep knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency
  • Self-motivated, creative thinker, organized, and a problem solver
 

PREFERRED SKILLS 

  • Understanding of IMG’s products or the insurance industry
  • Experience working with global brands in international markets & international social media platforms
  • Multilingual or familiarity with deploying marketing strategies in multiple language
