SUMMARY

The Strategic Partnership Director combines market insights, product comparisons, and digital partner management to drive growth in the retail travel insurance segment.  The role is to be involved with global travel insurance marketplace knowledge and understanding.  This position will maintain competitive analysis of key competitors and digital platforms, ensuring IMG remains at the forefront of products, benefits, and growth of the segment.  This role will be the owner of the digital travel insurance partners (aggregators).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 

Competitive Intelligence & Market Insights
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and product innovations.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, consumer behavior, and competitor product knowledge / competitiveness.
  • Deliver actionable insights on market intelligence for management knowledge, understanding, and possible decisions for IMG products/plans.
Aggregator Partner Management
  • Serve as the primary liaison for digital distribution partners, ensuring strong relationships and seamless integration.
  • Oversee onboarding, technical integration, and performance optimization across partner platforms.
  • Collaborate with Product, Underwriting, and Marketing Teams to enhance partnerships, plan availability, and understanding of our position in the marketplace.
Growth – Travel Insurance Segment
  • Provide detailed assistance to the retail sales team to increase IMG’s earned premium totals.
    • Competitive analysis, emerging trends, heard on the street intelligence, and support.


 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field or 5+ years of experience in Travel Insurance
  • Experience in digital distribution or aggregator platforms is required.
  • Proven track record of managing partner relationships and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
