SUMMARY
The Software Quality Analyst is responsible for executing and coordinating testing efforts to ensure software products meet established quality standards and business requirements. This role works closely with project teams to validate functionality, identify risks, and provide informed feedback on product design, usability, and readiness.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designing and executing test plans and test cases for assigned features or projects
- Supporting the coordination of testing activities within assigned initiatives
- Analyzing test results and clearly documenting defects and quality risks
- Identifying, tracking, and managing software issues through resolution
- Collaborating with development, project, and business teams to ensure testing aligns with requirements
- Reviewing requirements and designs to identify gaps, risks, and test considerations
- Recommending improvements to testing practices and processes
- Accurately recording time and maintaining work items to support reporting and capitalization requirements
- Managing daily testing priorities to meet delivery timelines
- Escalating quality concerns and project risks to appropriate team members
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Department‑Specific Skills
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and lifecycle processes
- Ability to design and execute test plans and test cases independently
- Ability to read and understand HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Demonstrates the ability to create and understand basic SQL queries
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
Soft Skills
- Manages multiple assignments effectively

PREFERRED SKILLS
- 3–5 years of experience working in the software development industry
- Strong experience with manual testing methodologies
- Experience with automated testing preferred
